New Feature in Version 5.09 – Save Probed Data to File!

Ever needed to verify a bolt pattern on a manufactured part? With MASSO’s new Save Probed Data feature, it’s now easier than ever to ensure your parts fit together perfectly—even with irregular bolt patterns.

How It Works?

  • Change to the desired work offset on your MASSO by pressing the work offset button G54 to G59 on the probing page if you are
not already on the correct one.
  • Tick “Save probed data to file” at the bottom left of the probing window.
  • Jog and probe each point you want to capture using the required probing cycle in the normal manner.
  • The probing data is saved to a file on your Flash Drive called “MASSO Part Probing data.txt ” The data is saved as a text file and records the working coordinates of the X, Y and Z axis as well as the probing cycle used for the measurement.
  • Import the data into your preferred CAD software (example shown using Fusion 360).

Why Use It?

  • ✅ Verify part compatibility before assembly.
  • ✅ Easily map irregular bolt patterns.
  • ✅ Spot inconsistencies that aren’t always visible—like that “perfect” square pattern… that isn’t so perfect after all.

With this feature, what looks right to the eye can now be confirmed (or corrected) in your design.
