Marketing and Office Manager

From designing social posts to analysing ad campaigns, Amanda’s days at MASSO are packed with creativity, strategy, and a whole lot of multitasking.

As MASSO’s Marketing and Office Manager, Amanda brings a unique blend of skills to the role — drawing from her background in retail marketing, branding, and running her own photography business. She’s responsible for developing the monthly newsletters, managing MASSO’s social media strategy, creating marketing resources for the sales team, refining wiring diagrams, and making sure every message is clear, consistent, and on-brand.

“I’ve always loved storytelling and design, so being able to bring that into a 
space like CNC has been an exciting challenge,” Amanda says.

Promoting a technical product
One of the biggest challenges Amanda has tackled is learning how to market a technical product like MASSO to a wide audience from seasoned machinists to first-time makers.

“It’s been a big learning experience, but I’m lucky to be part of such a knowledgeable and helpful team,” she says. “Everyone’s always happy to share their expertise, and that’s helped me build a solid understanding of CNC and 
how our products fit into different workflows.”

A highlight: MASSO Makers
When asked to name a favourite project, Amanda doesn’t hesitate: the MASSO Makers competition.

“It was such a fun campaign to work on, bringing it together across all our platforms and seeing the community respond was amazing.

The creativity and different ways people use MASSO really blew me away. It reminded me just how talented our maker community is.”

Keeping the brand fresh
Amanda finds a lot of her inspiration in the MASSO community itself.

“The feedback, the project videos, the photos of custom setups, our users are so passionate and generous with what they share. As a creative person, that keeps me inspired and constantly thinking about new ways to tell their stories.”

What sets MASSO apart

“MASSO really listens to its users,” Amanda says. “That’s a big part of what makes this brand special and something we try to communicate through everything we do in marketing. Whether it’s simplifying technical information or showing real-world setups, it’s about making CNC accessible and highlighting how MASSO genuinely supports its users.”

From behind the scenes to the frontlines of content creation, Amanda plays a big part in making sure MASSO’s message is clear, consistent, and community-focused.
