Team Spotlight – Marisa, Accounts & Dispatch Officer

Before joining MASSO, Marisa was the co-owner of a busy pizza shop. Running the business meant wearing many hats – from managing accounts and supplies to overseeing production, sales, and customer service. Her days were often spent tossing dough, experimenting with recipes, and making sure every pizza that went out the door was as delicious as possible. It was a role that demanded hard work, organisation, and creativity, and it gave her a strong foundation for the fast-paced, multifaceted work she does today.
Today, when it comes to keeping MASSO’s finances in check and orders on the move, Marisa is our go-to. As Accounts & Dispatch Officer, she juggles numbers, logistics, and customer care and somehow makes it all look effortless.

Most mornings, Marisa starts with the accounts side of things, checking incoming payments, replying to customer emails, and making sure everything is balanced. As the day unfolds, you’ll often find her updating invoices, confirming order details, and even packing and shipping orders when needed.

Marisa uses a small number of systems that help keep everything on track, from managing accounts to processing customer orders. It’s all about staying organised and making sure nothing slips through the cracks.

For Marisa, teamwork is everything. When a customer support ticket lands, she jumps in to solve what she can, then loops in the right people – whether that’s IT, dispatch, or tech support.

It might surprise some, but accounts and dispatch are more linked than you’d think. For Marisa, moving between the two is second nature – one moment reconciling accounts, the next ensuring a package is ready for the courier.

When she’s not at work, Marisa’s world revolves around her two mischievous Pomeranian puppies, who keep life lively and full of surprises. And when she does find a quiet moment, she enjoys taking the time to relax, unwind, and recharge for whatever comes next.
